Winslow and I go way back to when we were kids. I lived on the adjoining property at Lemon Hill. We spent many days during the summer holidays swimming and fishing down at Evans Bay dock. Later on, Winslow got into the restaurant business. He was the chef at "Humphrey´s Country Kitchen". Afterwards, he had his own restaurant up on White Hill across from the gate at NOB. What a sweetheart of a guy. It was always good to see him which has been quite a while now as I presently live in Florida. We would always greet each other with a hug and of course a few stories. He was a true friend indeed. I pray that the family will have fond memories and look to the Lord for peace and comfort.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Mallory. Although I had not spent any time with him over the last few years, I was always happy to get a wave and a smile when passing the vegetable cart.
