...constantly whistling and badly singing the soundtrack from Don't cry for me Argentina and often citing the words that's the way to do it, in reference to Punch and Judy, Bob, was a pleasure to work alongside. Truly skilled in the lost art of signwriting but immersed in his love of his close family, this smart, well dressed man was an icon beginning in my apprenticeship. Wit and sarcasm the mainstay of a Plaxton employee, each day a pleasure to face in the best of company. Recently attended a funeral where I told Bob that I had been close to tears at the Spa watching my son accept his degree, Bob turned to me and said, Why?..... Did you have your hand caught in the seat! Treasured memories of a workmate and friend and another figurehead from the coachbuilding fraternity of this humble seaside resort.
