Ray
Really, really sad. Not seen Ray for 7 years but the world is a lesser place without him. A friendly, genuine guy who was just a breath of fresh air - his enthusiasm for life and creativity were infectious. You were an inspiration, Ray, from the first note we played together to the last.

For Ray
My memories of Ray go way back to 1988-90 we both freelanced and rented desk space Bryan's Studio in Thurgoland.
As the years go by there are certain memories and people that you look back on with affection and respect, Ray was one of those people and I feel lucky to have known him.
My thoughts go to Ray's family and his girls.

To all who had the privilege of knowing Ray - but most especially his family left behind.
I have great memories of working with Ray - of being with him in a Leicester hotel when 9/11 appeared on the TV screens behind us - of a true creative who was as talented as anyone I worked with.
Family was always first and foremost to Ray, all my thoughts and my deep sympathies go to Gill and the girls.
