Sarah (Sadie) - Passed away peacefully in St Luke's hospice on Friday September 12, 2008 aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Sam, much loved mum to Sadie, Sandra, Michelle and the late Eric. A loving nannan and great nannan. Service and interment at City Road Cemetery on Monday September 22 at 11.15am. Flowers and donations for St Luke's Hospice may be sent to W Simpson & Son, 103 Fitzwalter Road, S2 2SP.

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
I see my mother looking back at me,
I see her eyes, so filled with love,
A reflection of our Lord above,
I see her smile, always strong,
Never ending when things go wrong,
I see her hands with tender grace,
Making the world a beautiful place,
I long to hold her, hear her sing,
Hear her laughter - everything,
I fight back the tears, night and day,
Praying this pain will go away,
But what a gift I have received,
My mother's life inside of me,
Blessed beyond what words can say,
She is still with me everyday.
