passed away peacefully at Ashdown Care Centre, Tiverton (formerly of St Giles-on-the-Heath) on Thursday 6th February 2025 aged 91 years. Beloved Husband to the late Margaret and a much loved Dad to Louise. Funeral service on Tuesday 4th March at Barnstaple Crematorium at 12.20pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in his memory for Dementia UK by retiring collection or c/o J E Stacey & Co, Funeral Directors, 15 Bodmin Street, Holsworthy, Devon EX22 6BD.

So sorry we lost contact, and heartbroken that we missed the funeral, we searched and searched for the date, only now here today have I seen it. So sorry Louise. Please accept our apology, sending you a big hug Louise.

Fond memories of Uncle Edwin, I meant to call in and say hello when he was living at St Giles, best of intentions that were never followed through, to my shame! The last time I saw Uncle Edwin, he was waving franticly, from his lorry, as we passed each other in Clawton - it made a big impression upon me, that a man that I had not seen for so many years, who used to tickle me as a child until I was in tears with laughter, had neither forgotten my face, or the happy times we shared as a family. So sorry that I have let life's demands and troubles, steal away the time and effort we all need to invest in keeping in touch with our families.

I have known Ned for 50 yrs. He was a fantastic Dad to Louise and a good friend. He will be truly missed.
