STANBURY Kenneth John "Ken". It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Ken on Wednesday, November 13th 2024, at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Wonford, aged 85 years. Former Royal Navy Gunner and former Policeman of Bideford, Kingsbridge and Cullompton. Devoted husband of Liz, a much loved father of Tina, Nikki, Sonya and father-in-law of Nigel, a loved grandad to seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service will take place at Exeter and Devon Crematorium (St. Peter's Chapel), on Wednesday, December 11th 2024, at 12:30 p.m. followed by refreshments at Padbrook Park Hotel, Swallow Way, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1RU, to which all are welcome. Please feel free to wear something green in support of his beloved Plymouth Argyle. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Ken, in aid of The R.N.L.I. and ShelterBox, can be given by retiring collection or cheques made payable to W.H.
