I remenber going to Aunty shirley's house in the summer where she was always hosting and looking after everyone.
She was a lovely lady , who was enjoyable around and very talented. My favourite meomory is "Orange peel teeth " her, her husband and children always got the oranges out at a family gathering and prepared the teeth for pictures. It shows her fun personality , her book of poems also shows her talent that she wrote not so long ago. I hope the sun shines bright today , i am thinking of her and her children and grandchildren today and know heaven has gained another angel . Aunty Shirley you will be sadly missed , all my love Kerrie , matt and Amaiyah x

Aunty Shirley was a special person. We always had great fun and laughs when we visited the family in Devon and looked forward to doing our shows after a long walk and sometimes an outdoor swim!
Now she is with Uncle Phil.
Rest in peace.

I spent many holidays with Aunty Shirley, Uncle Philip, Sally-Ann and Robert when we were growing up and it was always wonderful. Often our whole family, grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins, would all descend on their lovely family home in Devon and have a great time. Aunty Shirley was always interested in other people and was very caring and considerate. She will be very much missed but hopefully she is now reunited with Uncle Philip. Love Julie xx

I have fond memories of aunty Shirley busying herself in the kitchen making a delicious English breakfast for around 15+ of us family members that she kindly hosted during our family trips to Devon. That's the type of person she is, always making sure everyone were well looked after whilst she was stressing about like a headless chicken. I also have a very interesting flashback of aunty Shirley performing with uncle Philip a ventriloquist act during the family entertainment evenings. Aunty Shirley is very creative and although I unfortunately didn't get the knitted gifts she made me, I really appreciate them and am sure they were beautiful. I did have the pleasure of reading her poems and they brought a big smile to my face. I am very proud to have her as my aunty! I am sure you are now spreading those wings with uncle Philip . Sending lots of love
