Vera Gillbard Obituary
GILLBARD Vera (née Westcott). Passed peacefully away at home (The London Inn) on Sunday 15th January 2023 aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Ken. Loving mum of Martin, Colin (deceased), Linda, David and Sarah. Much loved mother-in-law, gran and great gran. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service at St Mary's Church, Morchard Bishop on Wednesday 15th February at 2pm. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired for the Devon Air Ambulance and Morchard Bishop Play Area by retiring collection or c/o I Bradford Funeral Director, Oaklands, Black Dog, Crediton EX17 4QJ

I well remember when I first moved to Morchard Bishop, nearly 30 years ago now, and Vera telling me that she had hardly ever been in a pub and now here she was running one! But I believe she loved it was always a mine of local information. So sorry to think that she has gone.
