HOCKING William John Passed away on 17th June at home, aged 65 years. Loving father to Emma and Aaron. A wonderful Granddad to Theo, Liam, Jacob, Cody and Oliver. A cherished friend to many, he will be truly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Service will take place at The Park, 205 Merafield Road, Plympton, PL7 1UQ, on Monday 7th July at 2.30pm.

William was a frequent patient on Braunton Ward at Derriford Hospital. He was a true gentleman, a respected man by the whole ward. He wasn´t just a patient, he became our friend, always laughing and joking with him.
Whenever I worked night shifts, I´d always make sure there was a chicken mayo sandwich in the fridge specifically for him. A glass of milk and a chicken mayo sandwich was his midnight snack
My condolences go out to his family at this hard time. He will most defiantly be missed by all of us on Braunton. Im thankful he´s finally at peace and no longer in any pain
