David Lonsdale Obituary
Dr David Lonsdale, sadly passed away on the 10th of April 2024. A beloved Brother, Uncle and Loving friend. Devoted to conservation and a leading expert in Forest Pathology, although retired he continued his efforts in conservation and his contribution to arboriculture will live on for a long time to come. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. David's funeral will be Thursday 9th May, 1.30 at The South Downs Natural Burial Site, East Meon GU32 1HR.

What an incredibly unique and special person we have lost with the passing of Dr. David Lonsdale. I count my self very lucky to have met and learned so much from David over the last 19 years at the Ancient Tree Forum meetings. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. RIP David
