I'd just like to say thank you to all Andrew's friends in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas for your lovely comments about him -he was generous to a fault -would most definitely speak his mind and have the last word but so many people have come up to us as a family and shared such lovely memories of him -his smile -his generosity and the way that he would look out for the most vulnerable people around him and offer his friendship -he never got his wish to live in Aberystwyth with Dianne his loyal partner but he's home and at peace now

You were one of the best friends that Dot, Taylor, Aaron and me ever had. You have a heart of gold. I could always depend on you and Di when times were hard. We used to have the best laughs. You were like no other. Truly one in a billion. You will always have a place in our hearts Mac. I can´t believe that I´ll never here your laugh again or hear any of your life stories. My thoughts go to all Mac's family and friends in their time of grief. I dont think there was ever a time I met Mac when he didn't mention at least once that he wished he would join you all in Wales with Di one day. I will miss his larger then life character and his cheeky welcoming smile he had for all his friends. I have enjoyed being Mac's friend for 30 years. There have been a lot of laughs, jokes, and debates. He was a good man, with strong values, and a generous heart. God bless him. We will miss him alot.
