Peter Chiswell Obituary
Chiswell Peter Irvine Maj Gen (Retd) Peter Irvine Chiswell CB CBE DL , Late of the Parachute Regiment, died peacefully on 24 June 2025, aged 95. Beloved husband of Felicity and brother of Tony. Deeply loved father of Hugh and James, and grandfather of Sophie, Ben, Alexander and Ella. He will be greatly missed and dearly remembered. Funeral will be at St Michael Archangel Church, Cwmdu, Powys, NP8 1RU. at 2pm on Friday 25 July 2025. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Charity at supportourparas.org or to St Michael Archangel Church Cwmdu.

It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Major General Peter Chiswell.
As the years since 1984 have passed, The General
has remained in my thoughts .
My heartfelt condolences to Felicity,Hugh and James. You remain in my prayers at this sad time.
