Dr. Peter Fforde Lutter

Lutter Dr  Peter Fforde  Dr  Peter Fforde Lutter,Colonel in the British Army Medical Corps sadly passed away on 5th January 2026 at Neville Hall Hospital, Abergavenny. Born in Ealing, London Peter graduated from Medical School and was commissioned into the RAMC in which he served with distinction for over 35 years. Throughout his career he provided medical care and supervision to soldiers and their families and was deployed in Berlin, Washington, Northern Ireland,The Falkland Isles and Hong Kong. He also studied at the Royal College of Music and became an accomplished pianist as well as an extremely good golfer and raconteur. He is survived by his beloved wife Gill and his 4 children Nicholas, Katherine, Penelope and Susannah.  A funeral service will be held on Friday 30th January at St.David's Church, Trostrey, Usk NP151GY at 11 am followed by a burial at the Church of St Mary the virgin, Llanvair Kilgeddin NP7 9BG.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Help for Heroes (www.helpforheroes.org.uk)
