Sheard  Rita  It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Sheard, who died peacefully at home aged 89 on Saturday 22nd November 2025. Rita will forever be remembered for her love and devotion to those around her, especially her grand children. Beloved wife to late Edward, mother, grandmother and friend. Rita's life was rich with love, laughter and cherished memories and will remain in our hearts forever. Her legacy lives on through the family and friends who hold her dearly and the many lives she touched with kindness. The short committal service will take place on Thursday 18th December 2025 at 12:30pm at Forest of Dean Crematorium, followed by a memorial service which will take place at Penallt Old Church at 14:00pm. Family flowers only; any donations in lieu can be made to Dementia UK and Project HOPE.
