Passed away peacefully at Pinderfields Hospital on October 31st2025, aged 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Patricia. Dearly loved dad of Michelle and very dear father in law of Mark. Also loving grandad of Jason, Adam, Steph and much loved great grandad of Jessica, Toby, Brandon, Callum, Ollie, Ebony-Rose and Sonny. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Service to take place at Castleford Parish Church on Tuesday 25thNovember at 10.00am followed by burial at Whitwood Cemetery. Will friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Arthur would be appreciated and go towards Cancer Research UK, which may be kindly left in the box provided in Church. All family and friends are invited after the service for refreshments at Cutsyke Sports and Social Club, Aketon Road, Castleford, WF10 5JB. Enquiries to C. E. Ashton & Son, Funeral Directors.
