Of Altofts, died peacefully in hospital
surrounded by his loving family
Friday 26th September 2025,
aged 75 years. David was the beloved
brother of Jane Brownbridge, and
her husband Richard; a dearly
loved uncle of Helen and James,
and his wife Katie; a cherished
great uncle to Joseph, Anna and
Edward and a dear friend to many,
especially those at Altofts Cricket
Club, Altofts Bowls Club and
Ackworth Riding for the
Disabled. A Requiem Mass will
be held on Thursday 16th October
at 7.00pm and the funeral service
and committal will take place on
Friday 17th October 2025 at
12.00pm at St Mary Magdalene
Church, Church Road, Altofts
followed by refreshments at
Altofts Cricket Club, Lock Lane,
Altofts to which everyone is
welcome. No flowers by request
please, but donations, if desired,
in his memory for Ackworth
Riding for the Disabled, may be
made via the collection box in the
