A remarkable lady
On Wednesday 14th August, Elizabeth passed away at the age of 102. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Paul, Jane and Martyn, her eight granddaughters, as well as her nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She will also be dearly missed by her friends on the Access Bus,
carers and neighbours.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Frank McTiernan. Always there for everyone, 'Nanna Betty' was a real character. The family hold many very treasured memories of her and she will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Wakefield Crematorium on
11th September. We ask those who may wish to attend to contact the family or Horbury Road
