We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother,
Dr Likun Xu, aged 85,
on the morning of
Wednesday, 9th July 2025.
We warmly invite all to a celebration of Likun's life on Monday 21st July at 11:00am
at Wakefield Cathedral.
This will be followed by a burial
at 1:00pm at Altofts Cemetery
and a wake from 2:00pm at
The Mill, Tileyard North.
In keeping with Chinese tradition, we welcome all to attend the burial, though we understand not everyone will be able to do so. If preferred, please feel free to make your way directly to
The Mill following the service.
Our mum adored the beauty and vibrancy of flowers, which are welcome at the service.
Donations in her memory may also be made to Wakefield Cathedral.
