I was born in Morley near Leeds in 1944 and I am an Australian citizen living in Bendigo Victoria. I was made aware of Stuart's books by my cousin who was a friend of Stuart's named David Mason from Leeds. My sister and I have both purchased all of Stuart's books and we both have really loved them. We were sorry to hear about his passing.

I have read all the Charlie Priest novels over the past two years and have recently introduced a friend to them as well. They were all really really enjoyable and I am sorry Mr. Pawson has left us. My belated condolences.

I write in 2020 in lockdown. Not for the first time I have started all over again to follow Charlie Priest from the first book to the last. Stuart Pawsons writing, his dialogue and characters, remain a delight to read. I would so much have liked to know him.

I have been introduced to the writings of Stuart, by his nephew Phil Gibson. I love the wit , humour and the world of dark crime in which he takes his readers. My only regret I never got to meet this remarkable gentleman. x Joanne Pollard
