With great sadness, we announce that Vera Stones peacefully left us on 27th October 2025,
aged 82 years.
A much-loved mom, sister, auntie and friend, Vera will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Thursday 4th December at 1.40pm, with refreshments afterwards at the Darrington Golf Club.
Family flowers only please. Donations in Vera's memory,
if desired, may be made on the day
at the crematorium or online at

All donations will go towards the Christmas Trees and Lights in the village — a cause very close to her heart, and one she worked so hard to bring to life each year.
