on Sunday 2nd November 2025.
Former; Chief Superintendent,
West Yorkshire Police;
President of Wakefield
Royal Naval Association;
President of Wakefield Sea Cadets and a long serving member of Wakefield Probus Club.
The family would like to thank
Dr Barnsley and staff at
Alverthorpe Surgery for their
care over many years.
Thanks also to neighbours of Bill whose kindness and assistance
was also much appreciated.
The funeral for Bill will be held on Monday 24th November at 11.20am at Wakefield Crematorium.
Family flowers only please.

Sending love from all at Wakefield Sea Cadets. I remember Bill coming to the unit and being president whilst I was a cadet and always enjoyed his visits to the unit. It was lovely to see him a few months ago when he came to the unit again. A true Gentleman, who during his time skippering Royalist will have had a huge impact on numerous Sea Cadets and their time and memories of being in the Sea Cadets

Ch Supt Little was my boss at WYP. I can say without reservation, he was a very good boss who looked after his staff and stuck up for them of which I know something about. I send my condolences to his family and friends, he will be sadly missed.
