William Mowbray Obituary

MOWBRAY William Bill, of Knottingley, Royal Navy War Veteran and former deputy at the Prince of Wales Colliery, passed away peacefully on May 23rd 2016, after a very short illness,
aged 97 years. Loving husband
of the late Marjorie and latterly loyal partner of the late Mary.
Father of Gary and the late Geoffrey and much loved grandfather of John, Clare and Stephen and their spouses. He will be greatly missed by great-grandchildren Megan, Jack, George, Eddie and Charlotte, including friends and staff at Holyrood House, Knottingley, where he received wonderful, loving care.
A service to celebrate his long
and happy life will be held at
The Salvation Army, Knottingley on Monday, June 13th at 10.30 am. followed by interment at
Pontefract Cemetery. Will friends please accept this intimation.
