John Boocock Obituary

Mr John Boocock
Passed away peacefully at home on 25th November.
Born on 24th February 1932,
Dad lived a full and vibrant life and was a friend and colleague to many in the building and engineering communities, from his early days at Berry Brow, Brockholes and Holmfirth in West Yorkshire, to lecturing at Wolverhampton and Taunton Technology Colleges, the City of Belfast College of Technology, and locally as Director of Building and Engineering at Mid-Warwickshire College.
Dad loved Warwick, enjoyed meeting both old and new faces, and sharing stories and legacies from his time in the building industry. Later in life, he
became a true activist, challenging corporate companies over
age discrimination.
The beloved husband of Pam,
much-loved dad to Andrew and Rachael, and grandpa to
Emily and Katie.
A celebration of Dad's life will be held at St Mary's Church, Warwick Old Square, CV34 4RA, on Tuesday 6th January at 12 noon, with a private cremation following the church service.
Family flowers only, please.
Dad loved nature and animals, so donations, if wished, may be given to the Blue Cross, 13 Swan Street,
Warwick, CV34 4BJ
(https://www.bluecross.org.uk/donate). A donation box will be available at the service.
