John Scott Reynolds
John (Jack) S.R. Lawton passed away peacefully at his home in Rugby
on 6th November 2025, aged 89. Beloved husband of
Suzanne (Sue) Lawton,
Jack will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Jack became tetraplegic in childhood and was a dedicated advocate for others with spinal injuries. He became a long-standing member of the Spinal Injuries Association UK in 1997 serving as Vice Chair in 1998 and Chair in 2000.
He served as Chief Executive of Rugby Borough Council between 1979 - 1996 and was honored as a Freeman of the Borough in 1996.
The Funeral Service will be held at Rainsbrook Cemetery and Crematorium on Wednesday 19th November 2025
at 10:30am.
