My 1st day @ St Marks Junior school, in Bilton, Rugby c1975 I befriended his brother Peter,they lived next door to school. I knew of Simon over the years mainly through Vicky's records, a treasure trove of oddities, Rockabilly being my preference at the time.
Simon sourced this for me when he had moved to the more salubrious Regent St premises, it took so long to arrive he let me have it for free and spookily it was playing on the radio today, having only learnt last night of his sad passing ! My thoughts are with the family.
