On 13th October 2025
the world lost a true gentle man
when Peter Holliday Calvert passed away peacefully,
aged 89, in Wigan Hospital.
Peter was a devoted husband to Kath, a proud father to Katherine, James and John, a cherished grandfather, great grandfather, father-in-law, brother,
brother in law, uncle and good friend and neighbour to many.
The funeral service will be held on 3rd November 2025 at 2:30pm at Charnock Richard Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired,
can be made to MIND the
Mental Health Charity.
The family would like to thank the ambulance service, doctors, nurses and ancillary staff from A&E, Lowton Ward and Winstanley Ward for the excellent treatment, care and kindness that Peter and his family received.
