MR M. J. GREGORY
(of Worksop)
Loving family man, Mr Michael John Gregory, of Primrose Way, has passed away at Bassetlaw Hospital following a short illness, aged 68.
He leaves sons and daughters Cherie, Chris, Carol, Claire, Rachel and Michael.
Born in Worksop and educated locally, Mr Gregory had been a resident in the area all his life.
Upon leaving school, he worked at Sidney Brown's as a plasterer for many years before eventually retiring from Bassetlaw Council where he was a refuse collector.
Mr Gregory enjoyed playing darts and dominoes in the local league and had won many trophies. He also enjoyed playing bingo, socialising with friends at St Joseph's RC Club, watching movies and action films on television and also football being a keen supporter of Manchester United FC, Above all, he loved spending time with his family whom he thought the world of.
Norman Daniels conducted the service, held on 19th December 2012 at Sherwood Forest Crematorium, Ollerton.
