Loving husband to wife Nora for almost 70 years, father to Michael, Tracy and Rachel, grandfather to Kirsty, Matthew, James,
Andrew Mark and Benedict
and great grandfather to
Taylor, Peyton and Casey.
The other great love of Alan's life was football. Over the years, he played for/managed numerous football teams, including Guiseley AFC, Yorkshire Amateurs, Micklefield FC, Harehills Amateurs, Farsley Celtic, Leeds Ashley Road, Shaftesbury United, and Real Santos of Armley to name just a few.
Alan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and friends.
The Funeral Service will take place at 3pm on Thursday 15th May, at Stonefall Crematorium, Harrogate, HG3 1DE.

Did he work at Taylor Wordsworths in Leeds at one time as I remember an Alan Vevers working there.
