It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monsignor Bernard Doyle,
aged 95 years, on Monday 4 January at Mount St. Joseph's Headingley Leeds.
Beloved brother of Marie Whelan and the late Paul Coonan, dearly loved uncle and great uncle of his many nephews, nieces
and their children and grandchildren,
priest and educationalist of the diocese of Leeds for over 70 years, friend and mentor to the hundreds of people with whom he lived and worked during his long life.
His funeral will take place at
St. Anne's Cathedral, Leeds, on
Friday, 15th January at 12pm
followed by private interment at Lawnswood Cemetery.
Family flowers only.

Dear friend, beloved priest Fr Doyle was all of that and more.I had known him since I was about 8rs old,in Morley & London. To me and my family he was everything a priest should be. I know how much he will be missed..
