DAVID STUART
With great sadness, we announce that David Stuart Charlesworth, of Sandal, Wakefield, passed away peacefully
on Monday 29th December at the age of 89, following two weeks of wonderful care on Ward 21 of Barnsley Hospital and a long battle with dementia.
David was a cherished husband of over 70 years to Betty, a loving brother, father, grandfather and
great-grandfather and an active member of the local community;
he will be sorely missed.
The funeral will take place
at 12:30 on Tuesday 20th January at
Sandal Methodist Church
and will be followed by a short committal service at
Wakefield Crematorium.
Donations, if desired,
to Wakefield Hospice in lieu of flowers.
