Peacefully on 22nd June, David,
darling husband of Darrell
and loving father of Michael.
Funeral service to be held at
The East Riding Crematorium, Octon
on Thursday 11th July at 1.30pm.
No flowers or dark clothing please.
Donations to be shared between
the RNLI and the NYMR.

I have just been made aware of the loss of David & want to offer my condolences to all the family,to Darryl & Michael , Gail & Brian: what happy memories I carry of life at 'Blue Haze' & in the house in Pannal
& even your teaching days Daryl involving my children!! We all move on but the memories remain.m, my thoughts & prayers are with you.

We Australian cousins have so much enjoyed David and Darrell's trips to Australia, especially one very special Melbourne Cup Lunch that saw us all winners. David also shared a passion for Scarborough Beach (the very site where our Grandfather built a holiday house almost 100 years ago and where many of the Hick families spent most of our lives, and still do). We have very fond memories of visits to Cornwall and enjoying a frothy light ale or two. David will be sadly missed and our love is sent to Darrell by Peter and Raelene.
