Passed away peacefully,
surrounded by his family,
on 2nd February 2025,
aged 76 years, after a long
illness courageously borne.
Dearly loved husband of Alison,
much loved son of Joyce,
dear father, father-in-law,
brother, grandpa, uncle, farmer
and great friend to many.
Funeral Service to take place
at St Mary's Church, Tickhill on Monday 24th February at 11am,
followed by a private cremation.
Family flowers only please,
if desired donations may be made
in lieu to Blood Cancer UK,
a donation box will be provided
as you leave the Church.

Worked with John for many years & classed him & his family as friends - he & Alison attended our wedding back in 1991. So sad that his treatment did not last longer. He will be sadly missed. Rest In Peace.

Sad to hear of passing of an old school friend (Mattersy Hall). Remember to this day s holiday I spent with him and his family on the farm even though it was all of sixty three years ago! My condolences to all.
