Professor Richard Taylor, Honorary Professor, OBE (1937–2025)
It is with profound sorrow that
we announce the passing of
Professor Richard Taylor OBE,
who died peacefully at home on Saturday 18th October 2025,
following a brief illness.
Professor Taylor is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Kathleen, and their family.
The funeral service will be held at
York Crematorium, Bishopthorpe Road at 13.40 on Tuesday 4th November 2025. The family respectfully
requests that flowers be sent by
family members only.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St Leonard's Hospice for which a plate will be provided at the service.
