Aaron Gadd

Aaron "Tuffy" Gadd, 68, was born September 24, 1956, in Ocala, Florida, to Virginia Vickers Gadd and Aaron Joshua Gadd, Jr. Aaron passed away May 30, 2025, in Ocala. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia, his father, Aaron Joshua Gadd, Jr., his mother Ernestine Yates Gadd, and son Payton Christopher Gadd. Aaron is survived by his children Geron Gadd (Jane Elizabeth), Margen Gadd Menefee (John Michael), Aaron Gadd IV, Blake Gadd (Jacqualinn), and grandsons Stetson and Hunter Gadd. Aaron is also survived by his sisters Peggy Gadd Flores, Kathy Murphy, and Vickie Anderson (Andy), as well as family members and friends too numerous to mention. Aaron was raised in Ocala and graduated from Forest High School in 1974. He was a member of the Forest Golf Team. He was also on the Golf Team at Central Florida Community College. The friendships Tuffy made growing up in Ocala, lasted throughout his life. He remained close to, and cared deeply for, his friends. Aaron's first job was at the Ocala Golf Club. He was an avid golfer who loved playing golf until his health no longer allowed him to do so. He also enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Bonita Club. Aaron worked in sales in the mobile home manufacturing industry. He was able to use his outgoing personality to interact with people all over the Southeast. For several years he was the Southeastern Salesman of the Year in manufactured homes. Aaron enjoyed the outdoors and loved maintaining his lawn and surrounding landscape. He was particular about how things were done. He grilled out on a regular basis and was a master griller. Aaron's family and friends are grateful to Life Care of Ocala. The staff there provided wonderful care during the last year of his life. There will be a Celebration of Aaron's life later this summer. Details will follow.
