Arnette Williams Obituary

Though I faced my share of troubles and ups and downs, I endured the battles and found my way to the other side, never turning back Arnette Henry Williams, Jr., was born January 9, 1982, to Arnette Williams, Sr. and JoAnn Houston in Ocala, Florida. Arnette received his formal education in the public schools of Marion County, Florida. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was united with Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board. He was united in holy matrimony with Sakeetra Bracy on February 25, 2017, In Ocala, Florida. This union was not blessed with its own children, however, Arnette gained bonus children. He was employed by Custom Windows. Arnette once coached Pop Warner Football and Magic Basketball. Arnette was a man of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for his family and friends. His legacy is one that will continue to shine through the lives he touched with his compassion, wisdom, and steady presence. "He walked the path with steady grace, a gentle soul, a quiet place. Now free from pain, his spirit soars- At peace beyond life's closing doors." He was preceded in death by his father, Arnette Williams, Sr., and both paternal and maternal grandparents. When it's my time to bid farewell, don't weep too long, for all is well. I lived, I loved, I gave my best- Now I lay down to peaceful rest. Remember me with joy, not tears, and carry me through all your years. On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, Arnette answered the Master's call and entered eternal rest. While his passing leaves a tender void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his memory will forever be a beacon of love, laughter, and strength. He is survived by his wife, Sakeetra Bracy Williams; his mother, Jo Ann Houston; his brothers, Justin (Natasha) Williams and Adrian Williams; 4 aunts, Anita Johnson, Sandra (Monre) Gill, Ruth (Edward) Walker and Annetta Pompey; 3 uncles, Tommy Houston, Leon Houston and Lester Williams; 2 nephews; 1 niece and a host of cousins and friends. Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00am at Second Bethlehem Baptist Theological Seminary, 1105 NW 4th Street, Ocala, FL 34475.
