Charles Roland St.Denis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Roland St. Denis. Charlie was our beloved father, grandfather and brother, who passed away on March 20th, 2025, at the age of 84. Charlie was born on September 8, 1940, in Bristol, Ct and lived a full life, with much laughter and love for his family and friends. Charlie was known for his easy-going spirit and his generosity, always willing to help anyone who needed it. His love of nature and the outdoors was a significant part of his life. Charlie was an avid fisherman and an accomplished golfer. He also loved playing cards, poker and cribbage with his family and friends. Charles served our country in the Armed forces and was a Tool Designer for the Barnes Group. Charlie is survived by three daughters: Karen Piazza of Portland CT, Kathleen St. Denis of Newington CT, Marie St. Denis of Evergreen CO, two stepchildren: Jason LaPorte (Kellie) of Wolcott, CT, and Jennifer Dill of Bristol, CT; six grandchildren: Nicole and Juliette Piazza, Sarah and Abby Dill, and Kyle and Sabana LaPorte; his first wife Patricia St. Denis of Bristol, Ct, his sister Joan Lord of Homosassa, FL, and brother Steven St. Denis (Celeste) of Fredericksburg VA. He is predeceased by his wife Lorraine (LaPorte), and his brothers John and Philip St. Denis. Charlie's sense of humor and readiness to tell a joke will live on in those he cherished. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
