Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April *, 1946.

John grew up in a rural community on the Northeast side of Indianapolis. He attended Warren Township schools, graduating from Warren Central High School in 1964. John later earned his associate's degree from IU, Indianapolis Campus. After graduating from high school, John joined the National Guard and continued in the Army Reserve.

John was interested in many things. He loved playing baseball at an early age. He went on to enjoy fishing, golfing, bowling and was an automobile enthusiast his entire life.

Many thanks to Vitas Hospice for the wonderful care he received during his illness. John passed peacefully at home on November 23, 2025, at 79 years old.
