It is difficult to put 88 years of life into a few paragraphs but the most important legacy Lois leaves behind is her joy and love for all people, most especially children. Being in the middle of 8 siblings she understood very well the power and potential of a loving family. It wasn't unusual to find Lois getting down the floor playing with the children instead of talking with the adults. Lois loved books, bird watching and gardening. She had a green thumb and could grow anything she had a mind to. She saw the world in an unconventional way, trust and love first, asking only necessary questions later. She woke daily to spend time in prayer and studying her Bible and spent many an hour peering out into nature from her swing underneath a huge Floridian water oak that grows just beside her home. She was known to spice up a knickknack or two around her home by painting it with some pink sparkly nail polish. Her greatest joy was her church family and photographing their many gatherings. Lois always left you with a smile on your face and a gift in your pocket. She will be greatly missed. I am so glad we will meet again someday in our forever home.
Services will be held in Florida at Lois and Bills church home Faith Baptist Church at 327 N. Highway 314A Silver Springs, Fl 34488 on Saturday October 25th at 11 am. The family in Cincinnati will be hosting a memorial gathering per her request at the home of Neila and Scott Senter on Saturday June 20th, 2026 at Noon.
