Marjorie Lee Obituary

Marjorie Louise Lee, 95, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Mom was born March 27, 1930 in Ocala, Florida.

She worked for many years at JC Penney. After she retired, she loved to work in her yard. She earned the nickname, "dirt momma" because that is where she was the happiest. She found peace with a shovel in her hand, sitting in her flowers pulling weeds.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Mike Lee (Chris), Allen Lee (Elaine), Judy Badgley (Bud), and Kristine Goetz (Mike). She also had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Staley and Grace Harward; her brothers Clifford, Leo, Buddy Joe, Charles, Bill and Richard Harward; her sister, Marie Joseph; her grandsons, Tony and Nicholas Lee.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 26, at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala.
