Patsy Nell King

Patsy Nell King, 85, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at HCA Florida Hospital in Ocala, Florida. Born on February 6, 1939 in Benham, Kentucky, to the proud parents of Henry H. & Vera O. (Gibbons) Walters, Patsy owned her own retail store and she was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her four children: Vickie, Chuck, Ted and John; her seven grandchildren: Ben, Dustin, C.J., Haylie, Hunter, Megan and Riley and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Vera Walters and her beloved husband of 67 years, Hughie "Wayne" King.
Along with her husband, they were well-known and respected and formed many friendships over the years. She was a regular at Meadowbrook Church alongside her husband. Her love and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Patsy.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home, 606 SW 2nd Avenue with a gathering of friends one hour prior to her service, from 10:00am to 11:00am
