Susan Greene Moring

Susan Greene Moring of Ocala, Florida, passed away on March 12, 2025. She graduated from Ocala High School in 1967 and attended Salem College. She was extremely active with the Ocala Civic Theatre for the entirety of her life. Her roles included serving as volunteer, actor, part of the board of directors and comptroller, winning numerous awards for her onstage performances. She was heavily involved with Fine Arts for Ocala (FAFO), serving on the Board of Directors for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed bonsai, where her long devotion and love for the art of bonsai showed in every tree she created and nurtured. She devoted many years as treasurer for The Marion Bonsai Society, among other jobs, and played a large part annually in the local celebration of World Bonsai Day. She is survived by her children (Buff and David Moring) three grandchildren (Ava, Grace and Parker) and two sisters (Dru Greene and M'Lou Greene) as well as many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Moring, and her parents, John and Rosemary Greene. A family service will be held at a later date.
