Thomas Jackson Obituary

Thomas R. Jackson, Sr. (Tom) passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. Tom was born December 20, 1944 in Washington D.C. He was predeceased by his parents Paul and Elba Jackson, and his loving wife of 59 years, Denise L. Jackson. He is survived by three children, Duke and wife Carmen of Tavares; Christy and husband Evan Lefsky of Mt. Dora; Joe Jackson of Mt. Dora; two awesome grandchildren Emma and Austin Lefsky; sister Joyce Neide of Virginia. Tom had many great friends including a true life long friend, Danny Stakem of Eustis, FL. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed fishing and shooting at the Eustis Gun Club. Tom will forever be missed by his family and friends.

I worked with Tom at Golden Triangle Ford and Bob Wade ford in Clermont. I knew him for many years as a friend and his friend and mine Danny Stakem, I am saddened at his passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry for your loss. Tom was a good friend. He will be missed. I will miss making pretzels for Tom around Christmas time.
