Wanda Reyna Obituary

Wanda June (Helm) Reyna, passed away on 4/15/25 at the age of 76. Her last
moments were spent peacefully at the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House,
surrounded by family.
Wanda was born in Scottsburg, Indiana to Charles Meredith Helm and Mildred June
(West) Helm on July 14, 1948, one of four children and the only daughter. After moving
to Jacksonville, Florida, Wanda graduated from Paxton High School and later attended
Community College in Ocala, focusing on accounting. She worked in retail and
construction, and, after moving to Trinity, she volunteered often at Longleaf Elementary.
Wanda was a caring, compassionate, and strong woman who loved her family and the
Lord. She played a large part in raising her grandchildren and in keeping the family
together. She would often sing hymns while working around the house or while cooking.
She loved caring for plants and was often found tending to plants in the yard. She loved
shopping for "bargains" and especially loved shopping for clothes – and made sure they
always matched! She was also an amazing "finder of lost things."
Wanda was welcomed in heaven by her loving parents and her youngest brother Doug.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses- Tina (Pursel) Lelko and Sammy
Lelko; Tim Pursel and Megan Pursel; and Dana (Pursel) Yero and Danny Yero. She also
had eight grandchildren- Jasper Lelko; Katie (Pursel) Schoch and Hunter Schoch;
Emilie Pursel; Kelly (Price) Gerritzen and Scott Gerritzen; Savannah (Price) Manning and Myles
Manning; Ava Yero; Daniel Rivera; and Brandon Yero. Wanda also had three great
grandchildren – Raegan Schoch, Maverick Schoch; and Charlotte Manning.
A Memorial service will be held at Roberts of Ocala East Chapel on Saturday, May 3 rd
from 1-4 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation (T2T.org) or the
Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House.
