Quinntin Corey Walker

Quinntin Corey Walker was born in the Bronx, then raised in Ithaca, New York as a resident of Tompkins County. He was loved by many and shared a great passion for the field of Hotel Hospitality. His greatest joy came in 2017, when he was offered a guest service position at Cornell University’s Statler Hotel. Quinntin loved helping guests and took pride in providing outstanding service. His dedication earned him several recognitions for excellence during his time at the Statler. Over the years, he held other guest service positions but eventually returned to the Statler earlier this year. Later, he accepted what would become his final role—as Front Desk Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, where he had planned to retire. He was a devoted and diligent worker in his field and respected all. 

He is survived by his wife, Shanovah Moodie-Walker; his children, Elijah, Malachi, and Emanuel Walker; stepson, Dyshawn Lawton; His mother, Naita Walker; his father, Andre Lucien; his brothers and sisters, Andre Jr., & Kervin’s Lucien, Andrea, Julie & Judy Lucien; along with a host of aunts and uncles, as well as cousins.

Outside of working and being a loving father to his sons, Quinntin’s greatest passion was his love for music.

Calling hours for Quinntin will be held on Saturday, November 29th from 1:00 - 2:00PM with a service to follow at Bangs Funeral Home.
