Alicia Robinson Obituary

Alicia "Maxine" Robinson, 72, or Asheville, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Maxine was born on September 8, 1953 to the late Judy King (2005) and Clarence Sharpe (2010). She is preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Schmele; sisters, Peggy Jackson, Rita Banks, Donna Sharpe; brother, Ronnie Sharpe; nephew, Tommy Mendez; niece, Angie Barnwell; mom, Judy Hollifield; and son in law, Bill Owenby. Maxine attended Asheville High School before becoming employed as a housekeeper at Comfort Inn, where she later retired. She loved watching reality TV, listening to music, doing word searches, playing with animals, self-care, and spending time with family. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Terry Owenby; grandchildren, Alicia Owenby (Jason Dodd) of Candler, NC, Ashley Weeks (David) of Brevard, NC, James Owenby (Josia Halka) of Leicester, NC; great grandchildren, Jason Dodd Jr., David Weeks Jr., Hannah Weeks, Semmy Owenby; nieces, Kim Brown (Gordon) of Beaufort, NC, Karen Brown (Gene) of Beaufort, NC, Gina Brown of Beaufort, NC, Crystal Rankin (Allen) of Beaufort, NC, and Tricia Sharpe (Robert Dawson) of Asheville, NC.
