Kristy King Benton Obituary

Kristy Ann King Benton, 51 of Vero Beach, Fl, unexpectedly passed away on October 9, 2025. Born December 26, 1973. She was a native of Asheville, NC. Kristy was a joyous Christmas present. The nurses brought Kristy to her mother wrapped up in a Christmas stocking. Kristy graduated from Erwin High School and attended Appalachian State University. She continued her education at Caldwell Community College to become a Cardiac Sonographer until she became disabled by Cervical Dystonia. Kristy had a beautiful smile with a heart of gold and was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. She loved to read and take long walks on the beach with her furry friends. Kristy was preceded in death by her loving father, Jerry D. King and survived by her mother, Debbie Bebber and her husband, Doug Bebber; brother, Todd King and his wife Amy, along with her nieces and nephews, Dylan, Olivia, Olexa and Silas. She will be greatly missed by her family and new puppy, Piper. Memorial Services to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
