Ray was a great guy. Nice to everyone and really fun to be around. I met him playing bridge.

One of the greatest and funniest friends I have ever
And one of the kindest. Spent many bridge days with him! I am so sorry I was not there. I just found out.

My condolences to Ray´s family. I knew him through bridge. He was an interesting fellow. He had a great sense of humor and quite a collection of tee shirts. He will be missed.

My condolences to Ray's family. I knew Ray from the bridge club. I loved his sense of humor and his disposition. It was always more fun when he was around. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing.

So saddened that Ray is no longer with us to play bridge. He always brought a smile to my face, even at the end, when he was obviously struggling. He was so brave. I will miss him greatly

My cousin Ray and I shared a sense of humor that didn't appeal to everyone -- a little edgy, a little snarky -- but it served us our whole lives. I will miss him. Ceil, my deepest condolences.

Ray, I barely had a chance to get to know you. You and Ceil welcomed us into the neighborhood. I know you will be deeply missed by many, especially Ceil. Lord, please welcome Ray into your kingdom.

My heart goes out you, Ceil. Ray will be missed by many, I especially will miss my silly, sassy bridge partner.

Ray never became a friend, although he was one to everyone else. It wasn't that he was unfriendly, we just never clicked. His death was a surprise and a shock. The cause of death was never announced, but I assume it was sudden.

My heart is truly broken to hear this bad news. I knew Ray for 10 years playing pickleball together. He was a dear friend and a really wonderful support to our Asheville pickleball community. I had the privilege to volunteer side by side in many free clinics and pickleball activities.
He will be missed deeply.
My more sincere condolences to you and your family.
Please let me know of any memorial services
Thank you

Ceil it was with great sadness I learned of Ray´s passing. He was a joy to be around. I loved cutting up with him at bridge and his craziness will be missed in our group. I am thinking about you at this difficult time. Jean Selman
