Adrian Pearson Obituary

In Loving Memory of Adrian Pearson (1970–2025) Adrian Pearson, 55, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on April 29, 2025, after a courageous ten-year battle with valley fever. He faced this illness with dignity and strength, and his unwavering love for his family and community never faltered. Early Life and Family Adrian was born on February 5. 1970, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Willie Bowie and Bessie Pearson. He was preceded in death by both parents at a young age and was lovingly raised by his sisters, Bobby Cobbins and Nancy Peace. Their guidance and care helped shape Adrian into the kind-hearted, resilient man he became. Marriage and Children While in high school, Adrian met and married his sweetheart, Michelle Jarvela. From this union came two beloved children: Adrian Pearson Jr. and Andrea Pearson. He took great pride in fatherhood, always present, encouraging, and devoted to his children's well-being and success. Career and Health Journey Adrian built a respected career as a journeyman in construction, known for his work ethic, dependability, and craftsmanship. In 2014, he was diagnosed with valley fever after relocating to Phoenix, Arizona. Though the illness forced him to retire early, Adrian faced his health struggles with grace, remaining an inspiration to those who knew him. Passions and Personality Adrian found joy in life's simple yet meaningful pleasures. He was an avid sports fan, a lover of crossword puzzles and Sudoku, and someone who never passed up a good challenge or a great conversation. From family gatherings filled with laughter and R&B or Hip-hop in the background to meals that honored cultural traditions, he embraced all the elements of his identity with pride and joy. Adrian received his spiritual guidance from Grace Bible Fellowship under the pastoral guidance of Pastor Kirkland A Smith of Antioch, California. In Phoenix, he attended the Pilgrim Rest, Baptist Church, and the Fountain of Life House of Worship. He loved spending time with his children and extended family and could always be counted on for a warm smile, a gentle laugh, and a welcoming spirit.
