Alexander M. Oliphant-Hughes, 63 June 12, 2025 | Scottsdale, AZ Alexander M. Oliphant-Hughes passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Clovis, New Mexico in 1962, Alex was known for his kindness, warmth, and generosity. He built a successful career at Bank of America, rising from teller to Vice President of Commercial Accounts, and was passionate about restoring classic cars-especially his 1972 Chevy Blazer, "BYB." He is survived by his husband, Steven Oliphant-Hughes; mother, Diana Oliphant; aunt, Susie Marston; brother, Andrew Oliphant, along with Andrew's wife, Shelli, and their daughter. He supported many causes, including Aunt Rita's Foundation, One in Ten, and the ASPCA. A private celebration of life will be held in Flagstaff on September 21, as requested by Alex. He will be remembered for his big heart, vibrant spirit, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
