Frances Gittler Obituary

Our precious mother, Frances May Gittler, passed away on Saturday, May 3rd,2025 in Peoria, AZ. She was born in Moores Prairie, Il. on November 24th, 1937 to her mother Mary Frances Birkhead and her father Franklin Glen Birkhead. Leaving her position as data processor in Chicago, IL., she devoted her life to her family, Ronald Gittler Sr., husband of 35 years, and her children Debra Beuchel (Steven Beuchel), Ronald Gittler, Jr. (JoAnne Mrozak), grandchildren Mark Rampetsreiter, Jr. (Melissa Bright), Charity Hall, Amber Houts (Tim Houts), Crystal Hall and Rose Hall. After her husband passed away from cancer, she worked at an elementary school helping with the school lunch program and working with emotionally challenged children. Frances spent the last 20 years in the Peoria area with friends and family in the part of the country that she loved. Visitation and Service times are pending. Please check back soon for further details. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to mom's favorite charity St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Frances, please visit our floral store.
